Harvested my first Michigan gobbler this past week. It was still early in their season so the gobblers were super responsive and very vocal. My mouth calls and slate calls took a backseat to my Primos box call. A loud and bothered hen is what they needed. 3 gobblers homed right in on us from over 200 yards away and on other neighboring property. It was amazing watching them work a huge cornfield and gobbling like crazy and eventually come all the way to our property. Such a blessed morning. Grateful to my friend Allan Goetz from the Michigan Buckpole and the private land owners for their hospitality - Genesee County Michigan - Private land IMG 4813 2 2
